St. Joseph's Young Priest's Society

St Joseph's is a society of lay people, founded by Olivia Taaffe in 1895, and approved by the Irish Episcopal conference. The purpose of the Society is to foster Vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

To assist financially in the education of students for the priesthood, also to promote the vocation of the laity to foster a greater understanding and love of the Holy Eucharist. The parish branch meets on the third Thursday of every month in the Pastoral Centre, after 10.am Mass for a short meeting after which time we return to the church to pray for Vocations at Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. All are welcome to join us.
