Gracious God, your
Son Jesus Christ
gave us the confidence
to call you Father. We believe you care for
us. We believe also
in the communion
of saints. With
confidence we ask
St. Jude, patron of
difficult cases, to pray
with us, for our
special intentions....
Thank you, God,
for hearing our prayer.

Dear Parishioner ,
Welcome to our parish website and if you are new to the area, welcome to our parish. You may come from further afield and simply want to know something about St. Jude the Apostle Parish – I hope that your visit will transform distance into friendship.
Our parishioners come from all over Ireland and beyond. We are comprised of young and not so young, working and retired people and children growing up who share a common love of God and each other. Please browse our site and feel welcome to drop into our beautiful church at any time to say a prayer or light a candle or join our parish family for Mass.
You can also tune in and watch our ceremonies live through the magic of the internet, which when you think of it is really what a parish is all about. A group of individuals combining talents and knowledge for the greater good and as the Jesuits would say, the Glory of God.
With best wishes:Fr. P.P.
This parish (RCN:20016166) is made up of over 2,500 homes from the estates of Orwell Park, Willington, Wellington Road, Cypress Downs, Glendown, Rossmore, Templeogue Wood, Templeogue Lodge, Rushbrook, Kennington, Wilderwood, Osprey, Kilvere and Domville.

- It was with great sadness that we learned of the sudden death of Catherine Kelliher. May She Rest in Peace. Over 25 years ago, Father Ryan announced that he was looking for volunteers to look after and manage the recently built Pastoral Centre. Catherine has been a familiar face in the Centre since its inception. She gave of her time and her talents, ably assisted by other Committee members over the years, to ensure the smooth running and viability of the Centre. A testament of her enduring care and efforts was the fact that her last act in the Parish was to answer an alarm activation on Saturday evening in the Centre with her son Ronan. From the moment she moved into the Parish to her sudden and untimely death last Sunday, Catherine gave of her time unselfishly. We extend to Aidan and all the family our deepest sympathy and prayers at this time
- MISSION SUNDAY - next weekend Next Sunday 19th October is Mission Sunday.World Mission Sunday is the Holy Father’s annual appeal for spiritual and financial support so that the life-giving work of overseas mission and missionaries can continue. We encourage all families with young children to join us for this Mass. In particular we invite the children who will be celebrating the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion in 2026, to join us for this Mass as it is an important part of their preparation for the Sacraments. If you are new to the parish, you are particularly welcome
- It is with regret that we inform you that Fr Jince will shortly be leaving us following completion of his studies and placement with the Mater Hospital. We have been very blessed to have Fr Jince minister among us since last November. His warm and friendly personality made him a wonderful member of our parish team. He has been a great support to me and his willingness to serve in any capacity has been invaluable. He will be greatly missed and we wish him every blessing in his future ministry. Fr Pat
