Welcome to the website of the parish of St. Jude the Apostle, Templeogue in Dublin Ireland. This parish is made up of over 2,500 homes from the estates of Orwell Park, Willington, Cypress Downs, Glendown, Rossmore, Templeogue Wood, Templeogue Lodge, Rushbrook, Kennington, Wilderwood, Osprey, Kilvere and Domville.
Now that we have established our new "Web Presence", we are planning for the consolidation and expansion of the site in 2010. We are looking for people to join our Website team.

There will be a special collection at all Masses this weekend to help with the relief work in Pakistan this will replace the usual Share Collection

Congratulation to Fr. Denis Ryan who celebrated the Golden Jubilee of his Ordination to the Priesthood recently, we thank him for his friendship and support to all our parishioners here over the last fifteen years and wish him health and happiness for the years to come.

Parish Office Closed for Holidays
The Parish Office will be closed for holidays from Wed 4th August - Fri 13th August. Mass cards may be obtained from the Sacristy during Mass times. If you wish to book a Christening or Wedding please call into the Sacristy after Mass. Enquires for Baptismal /Confirmation Certificates or Letter of Freedom may be emailed to judesparishoffice@eircom.net
  • Changes in Mass Times - For JULY & AUGUST The 9.10am Mass will cease on Friday July 2nd and the 5.pm Sunday Evening Mass will finish for the Summer on Next Sunday 27th June.
  • Scouting Ireland - The 103rd Willington Scouts are appealing for Adult Volunteers please see notices in Church Porch or Parish Bulletin for more details.
  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for July & August - During July & August all day adoration on Fridays will cease except for the 1st Friday of each month when adoration will take place from 10.45 to 4.30 concluding with Benediction all other Fridays during July & August adoration will only be from 10.45am to 11.30am & also note that there will be no Sunday afternoon adoration during July & August.
  • Would you like to be a Minister of the Word? - Our Parish here in St Jude's would like to hear from anyone who would like to become involved in reading God's word in the Church.

    Requirements: A personal love of God's word and to be able to try and pass that message and meaning on to the people of God at Mass
    Age: All ages welcome
    Remuneration: God has an excellent pay package in place (Have a word in His ear)
    Experience: None required as training (if necessary) will be arranged.

  • National Ploughing Championships - The Archdiocese of Dublin and the Diocese of Dublin and Glendalough (Church of Ireland) will again have a Stand at the National Ploughing Championships 21st-23rd September. Everyone is welcome to visit, pray and support the ongoing work of ecumenism and common prayer.
  • Neighbourhood Retreat - An Invitation to Leaders - It is a retreat based on Ignatian Spirituality, for lay people over a number of weeks.   • New MA in Ethics Information - DCU's Institute of Ethics and Mater Dei have a newly accredited joint MA in Ethics. Information about the new programmes can be found on the Mater Dei Website www.materdei.ie
  • Bereavement Support Volunteer - The Bereavement Service at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross is recruiting for bereavement support volunteers. The volunteers will provide bereavement support to adults attending the bereavement service. Good communication skills and an interest in working with bereaved people are essential requirements. Lectio Divina
Would you like to do something extra for Lent and at the same time experience the Good News of each Sunday's gospel for each one of us. We as a group are always surprised at how the Gospel has a unique message for each one of us and how we get great joy and consolation is seeing how the story of Jesus is still very alive in our every day lives. If you would like to join us you would be very welcome in the Parish centre each Monday morning at 10.45am.
